I've been working with Bryan and Alvin (Rooster) for a while now. A couple of great guys here, they can take care of many of your programming needs. Alvin covers the chipped cars (TPI, 92-93 LT1, etc), and Bryan covers the Flash cars (94+ LT1, LS1). If you're apprehensive about creating your own program, these guys can work with you - heck, with one of my cables, they can *email* programs to you to upload. :) We've been doing that for a while, it works great. Here's a great guy. Al. :) Here are Jeff "LJ" Steven's technical pages. Bottom left has a link to a PCM tutorial. Excellent reading! Here is the Glossary that you need to refer to when using the LT1_Edit software. Has lots of good terminology explanation in here. Props to Chris Bennight for putting it together.
Here's a link to some cool, inexpensive OBDII scanning tools. Multiple platform (including handheld) support. Sharp! Now here's some serious information for you chip editors out there.
ECMguy (I don't know who he really is, much like Tunercat, he lurks in the
shadows) has a great page that's chock full of tuning information. Plenty
of applicable and meaty content here. These next 3 links are important, and they are related. The DIY-EFI (Do
It Yourself Electronic Fuel Injection) list has 3 major components - the
EFI332 project (a homemade EFI controller), the DIY-EFI group (discussing
EFI topics in general, all manufacturers and custom), and the GMECM group
(specifically dedicated to the GM EFI systems). I've been on GMECM since
Day 1. Great info there! Check out: And an article written by Dr. Bruce and his 7 dwarves (most of whom are
named Grumpy ;^) ) | |
